Interested candidates are invited for a personal interview and a written entrance exam. A prompt response regarding English proficiency will be provided.

The B.Ed. component of the English program includes academic and practical elements required for the single-major B.Ed. degree and certificate for teaching English.

The English study program includes regular and online courses in five areas of study.

Proficiency: 6-8 semester courses
Literature: 6-8 semester courses
Linguistics: 6-8 semester courses
Educational Linguistics: 10-12 semester courses 
Methodology: Morentor and disciplinary courses

Clinical Practice: Students complete four semesters of practical field work of two days a week, entailing structured and supervised teaching. Help and support are provided throughout the experience. Personal requests and college considerations are taken into account in placing students in schools.

M.Ed: B.Ed students can start their M.Ed (Masters of Education) degree, “Teaching English as a Foreign Language in the Digital Age”, in the fourth year of study, and finish both degrees within five years.

The English department aims to cultivate a new generation of professional teachers through comprehensive and advanced training for teaching English. To achieve this goal, we implement thorough training programs.
